My husband and I adopted the sweetest dog ever from a shelter here in California. Couldn’t understand why she had been picked up stray 3 times. However, she was only sweet in the house. Try to walk her? She pulled so hard she actually took me to the ground! Let her get close to another dog? She instantly went into fighting mode!
We talked to a few trainers before deciding on Brittany at K9 Harmony.
Brittany came to our house and met our Lana. We took Lana outside in front of the house and she walked her back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. She talked to us (trained us) as she worked with our dog. We were amazed! Brittany worked with us at parks and around other dogs once a week for 6 more weeks. Lana is now a dog we can walk twice a day. She pulls once in a while, but we can get her out of that mindset. She still doesn’t like other dogs, but she is controllable.
